The minutes of the June 7, 1999 board meeting were read by Gale Starbuck.

The Treasurer’s Report will be given by Bob Swab at the August meeting.

Sonny thanked the board for the many hours they helped in the concession stand during the All Star games at the Swaim Complex.

Sonny also brought up the following items:

-Glenn Swaim recently made a donation to the league and would like for Matt Swaim’s monument to be moved closer to the concession stand.

-The league needs to begin a fund raising effort for a monument in honor of Garland Nelson. Mr. Nelson was a Little League coach and volunteer for many years.

Tom Twiddy gave an overview of the Fall Ball Program. To date, almost one hundred players have signed up to play. Players are still needed in the coach pitch and girls softball leagues.

Tami Mankins reported that approximately $9,000.00 was raised at the spring raffle ticket sale.

In October the league will elect a new board of directors. The Nominating Committee members are: Tom Twiddy, Tommy Wilson and Tim Lawson.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 PM.
