The minutes from the April 1999 meeting were read by Gale Starbuck.

Sonny reported on the following items:

- the electrical inspection for the new building should be done this week.

- big league tryouts will be this weekend.

Jeff Barnes, Sam Bradley, Tommy Wilson and Bob Swab are this year’s volunteers for the scholarship committee.

Ken Boyan made a motion for the Major League game between VFW and Vestal to be completed since they were playing on an unlighted field and didn’t complete their game. The motion was seconded by Sam Bradley; motion carried.

Sonny will be making a proposal at the May 23 District Meeting concerning the inter-league fall ball program.

A motion was made by Scott Wilkinson that to be eligible for the nine and ten year old all star teams, interested players must tryout this year. Minor League Players with hold down letters are not eligible to play in the Major Division. The motion was seconded by Bob Swab; motion carried.

A motion was made by Gale Starbuck to mark the area at the entrance to the complex as a "no parking" area. The motion was seconded by Tami Mankins; motion carried.

Ginger Howland volunteered to make some inquiries regarding playground equipment for the complex, so the younger children at Swaim would have a safe play area during games.

The meeting adjourned at 9:45 PM.

Respectfully submitted,

Gale R. Starbuck
