Bob Swab, President of Kernersville Little League, called the meeting to order at 7:15 PM. There were four regular members in attendance.

The minutes of the March, 2003 meeting were read by Gale Starbuck. A motion was made by Sherry Smagner to approve the minutes as read. The motion was seconded by Jonathan Head; motion approved.

The Treasurer’s report was given by Doug Massey. Presently the league has a total of $70,049.00 in the checking and savings accounts. The balance due to Carolina Green for field work is $16,000.00. There was a recent donation of $5,000.00 from Bank of North Carolina. A motion was made by Roger Neundorf to approve the treasurer’s report. The motion was seconded by Chuck Haslebacher; motion carried.

Fred Thompson of Frame Expressions presented a fundraising proposal. He would like to offer the “Mat Memories” package at picture day. A percentage of the sales will be returned to the league. Bob and Fred will work out the details later this week.

A motion was made by Gary Idol to name the following persons as coaches in the Senior Baseball division:

Bob Swab, on behalf of Steve Howell made a motion to name Ed Nichols as a coach for TRS in the Major Baseball division. The motion was seconded by Gary Idol; motion carried.

Bob gave an overview of events at Swaim for the next few weeks:
March 8th - Team mom meeting
April 19th - Opening Day, which includes the parade of teams, introduction of board members, volunteer of the year award, Wilson Experience, and the first pitch of the season.
April 27th - Picture day 

Pat McNamara gave the following schedule for uniform pick ups: Tues. 4/12, Tee Ball and Coach Pitch,
Wed. 4/13 Softball, Thurs. 4/14 Senior, Minor and Major leagues. The uniforms will be ready at 6:00 PM each evening.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 PM.
