Bob Swab, President of Kernersville Little League called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. There were 55 regular members in attendance.

The Treasurer’s report was given by Doug Massey. Presently the league has $17,852.00 in the bank account. Last year at this time the league had $16,541.00. This is a vast improvement considering the amount of funds the league spent at the complex this year. Improvements to the fields, the Twister purchase, lighting repairs, gravel and grading to the parking lot and fencing repairs were all done at the complex this past year. The final land payment of $11,291.00 will paid in February. The fall cookie dough fundraiser made $1,300.00, 261 tubs of dough were sold. A motion was made by Don Morton to approve the Treasurer’s report. The motion was seconded by Jonathan Head; motion approved.

The minutes of the September 8, 2003 board meeting were read by Gale Starbuck. A motion was made by Gary Cobbler to approve the minutes as read. The motion was seconded by Roger Neundorf; motion approved. 

Bob then turned the meeting over to Rick Cremen of the Nominating Committee. After the election, Bob thanked the outgoing board for their support and contributions. He then called for a closed meeting at Panera Bread the following Sunday for the board to have a retreat and assign board positions for the 2004 season.
